Aisling na nGael (An Irish Dream) is the debut CD
from Emma Kate Tobia. The CD comprises 12 tracks from the Irish
traditional idiom presented in a stunning manner by Celtic Soprano
Emma Kate Tobia. 'Aisling na nGael' includes well-known tunes
such as;
- Fill, Fill, a Rún Ó
- Óró, 's é do Bheatha 'Bhaile
- Róisín Dubh
- An Raibh Tú ag an gCarraig?
- Glory O! to the Bold Fenian Men

Emma Kate Tobia was born in Scotland, her family moved to Westport,
Co. Mayo where a diligent teacher instilled in her the love of Irish.
While studying in the Cork School of Music, she won numerous competitions
such as the Lieder Cup, the Operatic Cup, the O'Shea Perpetual Cup
and the Margaret Dillon Award at Feis Maitiú. Opera South
and then Opera Cork gave her a start in the world of Opera with
a number of prestigious roles.
Emma Kate then joined with Dr Veronica Dunne in Dublin to pursue
a full time singing career. Master classes in Vienna for two summers
and then a number of solo recitals in the Arts Center throughout
Ireland, as well as Summer Concerts of Irish traditional and Classical
Music in Kinsale led to the recording of Aisling na nGael.
