Music is like an endless river of energy, continuously seeking to flow in new directions, flowing in new paths, finding new means of expression.

At the sessions from which this album came I was honoured to witness several different styles of music meeting: Irish traditional, contemporary, bluegrass and country-rock. They merged happily to find new dimensions in music which resulted form those meetings.

Thank you Albert, Bela, Christy, Eoghan, Greg, Jerry, John, Noel and of course, Davy for giving so generously of your talents and ideas, for breaking new ground and old barriers, and making a dream come true.
I hope that you, the listener, find the music on this album as fresh, vital and exciting as I do.
